In Addition to the Movies and Money

About a week ago, my youngest, who just received his driver's license, woke up 10 minutes after he was suppose to leave for work.  He flew through the house, jumped in the minivan and moved it from behind the kid car.

After switching to the Sunfire, he hit the gas and didn't realize he was angled.  He is now paying to fix the cars.

My daughter has the kid car, so I can't get pictures of it, but here is the Caravan:

All the white marks are where the paint was rubbed away.  A small dent is to the left of the wheel.

Nice long "rub" and dent in the door.

A better look at the dent in the door.

Total cost to make it look new: about $600
Total cost to make it look acceptable and teach my son a lesson: $150

The kid car is not as bad.  It had some paint taken down to the bare body and a small dent.    We will most likely just buy touch-up paint for it.   I haven't decided yet.  I may let him decide, because he is the one who is buying the car off of me.
