Done Homeschooling

My youngest graduated high school a year earlier than originally planned.  I am very proud of him.   He chose a laptop as his graduation present.  That wasn't a problem since I've been saving for it since he began high school.  You can get a decent present if you start saving freshman year.

That means I am officially done homeschooling.  I am not so sure how I feel about that.  I guess it's one chapter in my life that is now closed.   I need to go through the books and start selling what I will no longer be using.

His tassel and diploma cover with our school name stamped on it arrived today.  Time to make his diploma and print him out a copy of his transcripts.   We had his graduation dinner last night with the entire family.

I wish I had thought to ask the local private school/co-op if he could graduate with their Senior class.  I know they would've let him.  Though, he did say he didn't really want to do the cap and gown thing.  But I'm mom and I would've liked a picture of it.

Now, we have to wait until the sun reappears so we can do his graduation pictures.
