~ Things have been a bit crazy here. My eldest daughter is having problems with premature labor, so I've had the grands off and on. Having a 2 year old running around the house is a big change since my youngest is 17.
~ Money has been tight, so I can't really do anything with the house. Someone left the upstairs bathroom window open, and it has been storming, so the raw wood I just framed the window with is completely soaked. I'm praying it dries out okay, so I don't have to redo it all. I'm almost done with that bathroom - finally.
~ Having my eldest son move back in has basically trapped me here in this state and this house unless I just walk out. I don't have the financial ability to do that.
He made some bad decisions along with bad financial decisions. He has 14 months left on his enlistment unless he is discharged earlier for one of his bad decisions. He took out loans to pay for his divorce and what his ex-wife wanted him to pay for. He now can't even afford to rent a place until he clears some of his debt.
I know I am not bound to help him at the cost of delaying my own life, but I am doing so, because I want him to turn his life around.
~ I have to go through this house and get rid of stuff. I'm thinking about renting a PODS container to put what I want to yard sale in. Yes, I have enough furniture and things to warrant it.
~ Nutrition has pretty much gone out the window, so my youngest daughter and I are suffering for it. I need to rein that back in.
~ My tomato plants seem to be doing well. That is a good thing. :)
~ My youngest DD and I are talking about clearing out an area to start costuming - again. Her job is not going well at all. She has been working there for over 2 months and still can't access her own pay records, because her manager isn't getting her account straightened out. She wants to switch from this stupid payroll Visa debit card (that charges fees for EVERYTHING) to direct deposit.
Her manager has also started stealing any high level sales my daughter gets. This is a recent development. Several people are telling her to find another job. I've told her that what they're doing with her pay is illegal.
~ Remember I started to make kefir soda? I stuck the jar into the back of the refrigerator to stop the fermenting process until I could bottle it. That was months ago. Yesterday, my eldest pulled the jar out and asked, "What is this?" I had completely forgotten about it. *sigh*
Off to rinse the grains and start over...
